Browse ProgramsPrepare by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 Fahrenheit). Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Prepare the flaxseed eggs by mixing ground flaxseeds with water. Stirr and set aside to use later. Soak the pitted dates in hot water to soften.
Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, stirr until combined.
In a separate bowl, mash the banana and the soaked dates with a fork. Then add all other wet ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients and flaxseed eggs over the dry ingredients. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter into the baking dish and top with fresh figs. Bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
