Browse ProgramsWash and rinse the black beans and add them to a big bowl. With a fork mash the beans roughly, make sure to still keep some texture.
Add all remaining ingredients for the black bean patties to the bowl and mix with a spoon until everything is well combined. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for 40 - 50 minutes.
Take the black bean mixture out of the fridge and add some more oat flour, if necessary. The bean patties should be easy to form with your hands.
Scoop out 1 1/2 tablespoons of the black bean mixture and form the patties with your hand. First form a ball and then flatten it with your hands.
Once all patties are formed, place a non-stick pan over high heat. Add vegetable oil and fry the patties for 1 1/2 minutes on each side.
Assemble the burger once the patties are ready and enjoy right away.
