This blueberry chia jam is one of those simple recipes that feels almost too easy — yet so satisfying. Made with just a handful of ingredients, it’s naturally sweetened by the fruit, thickened with chia seeds, and ready in minutes. No refined sugar, no complicated steps — just real, vibrant flavor. Spread it on toast, swirl it into yogurt, spoon it over oatmeal, or use it in your favorite baked goods. Once you make it from scratch, it’s hard to go back to store-bought.

Browse ProgramsAdd the blueberries to a saucepan and place over medium heat.
Stir in the vanilla and date syrup. Cover with a lid and let the mixture simmer gently on low heat until the berries soften and release their juices.
Remove from the heat and mash the berries with a fork or potato masher. For a smoother texture, you can blend the mixture.
Let the jam cool slightly, then stir in the chia seeds.
Transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the chia seeds to thicken and create a jam-like texture.
